“Alex is a great trainer. I cannot say enough good things about him. I hired him to help me with a new dog I rescued, Diesel. I needed some help but I was so hesitant about hiring a trainer because of a previous bad experience. Well, Alex put my mind to rest. He is knowledgeable, reliable and patient. He was able to give advice and coaching in a way I understood and processed it, even if he had to explain it a few times in different ways.

When you have a reactive German Shepherd and live in an apartment setting it becomes a stressful situation. I had people labeling him agressive (which isn’t true) and had a few people tell me to euthanize him. I was beyond stressed out which fed down to Diesel and amped him up. Alex worked with me to overcome my frustrations and own insecurities so I could become the best leader for Diesel.

“If I could put 7 stars I totally would without a doubt. Alex, from minute 1, was extremely professional and dialed in on not only what we wanted form our training experience, but as importantly what was great for the education and well being of our German Shepherd, Bailey. There was a system established tailored to her specifically because of his prolific understanding of dogs and how every one of them is different on how they respond and what they value in order to get the right reaction. In the same respect, he does great at training the owner to help the dog be successful. This is FAR out from your usual in house Petco mommy and me type training where you’ll get your dog to sit, maybe, with dry grain based treats. Furthermore, the distraction of a group setting as opposed to one on one attention Alex provides should be an obvious chouce. Alex finds the values that makes your dog want to please you and work for you, making it a very involved (or a involved as you make yourself) experience. You get what you put into it, after all, and your dog only responds to commands that you actually spend time rehearsing with them. Alex drives that notion home by experience and example, proving that his system works. Bailey went from having her life saved from abusive owners that didn’t know what they got into with buying an AKC pandemic puppy that didn’t want to listen due to bad training and little attention to a very respectful obedient, happy and flourishing young lady.
